The process is simple. First, we set a confidential consultation. We determine your needs and explore all your options. We then determine the Fair Market Value of your home. If you owe more than your home is worth in this current market then you should consider a short sale. You can qualify for a short sale through your lender if you meet the lender’s criteria. Some of which are:  If your behind in payments, in default, lost your job or if you can prove hardship. If your Lender approves the short sale then the remaining balance is usually forgiven.
