Search Portland for Foreclosed Condos

Start your search for condos in Portland here. CLICK the image to begin. Look at bank owned homes and condos 1st. Then check out condo foreclosures. Portland is saturated with condos. Many of them distressed. Remember the Atwater Auction last September? Well they auctioned off 40 luxury condos, but that wasn’t the end of the condo crisis here in town. I was doing some research in the South Waterfront and found over 120 condos just in that area. Looking for a condo in the John Ross or Atwater Place? You would be surprised of the inventory that are bank owned or in foreclosure.

The South Waterfront is located in SW Portland and competes with the desirable Pearl District. Some of the surrounding neighborhoods are: Arlington Heights, Downtown, Goose Hollow, Nobb Hill, NW Industrial, SW Hills, The Pearl, Westover, and Willamette Heights.

My Thoughts

I feel that distressed properties are in nearly every part of Portland and a great way to begin your search for a new home. This isn’t the kind of place that you find a home for $3,000 like on the TV commercials. However you can find homes below market in almost every price range. For example if you were pre-approved up $250,000 then there is a very good chance that you can get a home that would retail between $290,000 – $315,000+. I’ve seen people pass on an amazing deal to wait for a better one and guess what? That deal never came a long. My point is that all Real Estate Markets are different and in Portland we have a higher price point than some cities (even so we are not the highest). If you find a home that is a great match.. Make a reasonable offer. Especially if the home is under “this” market’s value. Thank you for taking the time to read my Blog and please feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Cheers,
